Conor Parsons Journey Through Football and YouTube Fame

Connor Parsons began his football career in the youth ranks of Norwich City. After mutually agreeing to depart the club in December 2019, he joined Norwich United, where he made a notable impact by scoring five goals in 12 appearances across all competitions. In October 2020, he signed with Lowestoft Town, contributing one goal in seven matches before exploring opportunities abroad in Iceland with clubs Tindastóll and Dalvík/Reynir. During his stint with Dalvík/Reynir, Parsons showcased his offensive prowess, netting three goals in six league appearances. 

Alongside all of this Conor created his youtube channel on the 21st of August 2018.His first video(vlog) was titled ‘Day in the life of a young academy footballer’. The video to date has reached nearly half a million views and that was only the start of his online success. Conor continued to post on Youtube about his recovery from his ACL injury. Conor kept consistent along his youtube journey and today has reached 120 thousand subscribers on Youtube.

Conor wasn’t just seeing success online as in August of 2021 Conor signed a one year contract with Wycombe Wanderers. He made an immediate impact by scoring in a 3-1 EFL Trophy match against Aston Villa Under-21s. Seeking regular first-team experience, he embarked on loan spells with Notts County, Bromley, and Solihull Moors, gaining valuable minutes across the National League. 

Conor decided it was time to move on to a different challenge and decided to come across the waters to Ireland more specifically the League Of Ireland. In January of 2023 Conor signed with Irish First Division side Waterford FC. Conor had a good season with Waterford and got great minutes under manager Keith Long. Conor played a huge role in securing promotion for Waterford, as on November 10th of 2023 in the promotion/relegation playoff Conor scored a screamer of a goal to help Waterford on their way to the Premier Division.

The following season Waterford Fc decided to extend Parsons stay and kept him at the club for the 2024 season. Waterford finished 7th that season. Conor left the club at the end of the season returning home to English outfit Dagenham and Redbridge Fc.

Conor’s time at Dagenham and Redbridge was a short one. After only a few weeks at the club Conor decided to return to Irish football and joined Dublin side Bohemians Fc. Conor has had a fast start to his Bohs career. Parsons started the first game of the season for Bohs at the Aviva vs local rivals Shamrock rovers. Parsons played a key role in the goal that won Bohemians the game linking up with former Sheffield United play Lys Mousset before Ross Tierney gobbled up the rebound from Parsons shot on goal.

Conor’s had a very interesting rise to success in football going through an ACL injury, leaving Norwich at a young age, dropping down leagues in search of game time but has also seen many success stories along the way with his Youtube channel bolstering 120 thousand subscribers as well as scoring and helping Waterford get back in the Premier Division.
